Cowboy Clean Fuels’ climate-positive clean energy solution was born, developed and first deployed in our home state of Wyoming. But we aren’t stopping in the Cowboy state. Continuing Wyoming’s legacy of producing the energy that powers the world, Cowboy plans to expand into new areas in the US and beyond, increasing production of the energy-positive carbon removal needed to keep the global economy running while addressing the climate change challenge.
Cowboy CDR is recognized as a premium product in the CDR market due to the high durability, low cost and associated RNG that is co-produced by the Cowboy process, as well as its numerous community benefits.

Leveraging Existing Assets
We minimize the need for new capital investment by using existing CBM
wells and infrastructure.
By repurposing these assets, Cowboy extends their economic life, enables land and resource owners to continue to generate needed income, defers costly reclamation and avoids potential environmental liability associated with abandoned and leaking wells.
Flexible Energy Solution
Our process is highly flexible, allowing us to optimize Carbon Removal and RNG production to meet customer and market needs.
We can adjust the process to produce more or less RNG and can bundle carbon removals with RNG production to tailor the Carbon Intensity (“CI”) of the RNG to meet customer preferences and requirements.
