Preston has over 14 years of experience in accounting, finance, and oil and gas. Prior to joining Cowboy Clean Fuels, Preston most recently held the position of Vice President of Accounting and Controller at Crowheart Energy, an upstream oil and gas company that operates 3,500+ wells in Wyoming’s Wamsutter Field. Prior to joining Crowheart, Preston served as the Assistant Controller at Ultra Petroleum, having held various accounting and leadership roles while there. Preston began his career in public accounting working at Deloitte & Touche LLP where his client portfolio included a wide array of upstream and midstream oil and gas companies.
Preston holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder, an MBA from the University of Denver, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
